Benjamin trained with local museums and art associations as part of an 8 year apprenticeship, and a further 2 years for gilding and frame restoration.
His studio is open to all, and you are welcome to visit and see works in progress and have an informal chat about your restoration needs.
Here's a large oil painting that I previously restored, the client in question required a new frame.
This is a composition and gesso frame that came to me in the white, which I base coated with bole, preparing for gold leaf. Then gilded with 22crt standard leaf, then distressed as needed to look period.
